Since a young age, Kyle has always been fascinated with storytelling and its power to take us to places new and old. He remembers spending countless hours in his childhood planning and writing short stories. However, it wasn’t till he started studying film production, nearly three years ago now, that he truly realised the power this art form had to offer. 

 

He believes film has the power to take us to exciting worlds, give us perspectives into the lives of people whom we may have never encountered otherwise and evoke our emotions, which can not only change how we perceive things, but can also help us feel seen. Currently, Kyle is studying Film Making at Leeds Beckett University to help enhance his film-making abilities further, especially in the cinematography and director sectors, as that is where his main interests are. With each project he makes, he attempts to go bigger and to push his skills further, in an attempt to create the best work he possibly can. Once he has completed his course, he hopes to be able to pursue work on professional industry. However, he is also currently on the lookout for any potential freelance work too.

Outside of education, Kyle spends his free time taking photos, practising his camera work and planning potential future stories, which he aspires to release one day.
